In my latest exploration of the world of poetry, I've found that there are some truly iconic poets still gracing us with their talent. Some of the most famous include the likes of the profound American poet Robert Pinsky, the insightful Canadian wordsmith Margaret Atwood, and the captivating British poet Carol Ann Duffy. I was also moved by the powerful works of Wole Soyinka from Nigeria and the deeply expressive Indian poet Gulzar.
