My favorite kinds of people? Dreamers, doers, believers, thinkers, lovers, true friends.
I love and enjoy my grandchildren. I trust you take a moment soon to be with some of those important people in your life. Have a great weekend, friends! These are trying times for so many of us. I am recording my life into recovery and wellness. And with that, I am passing along things I did as self-help. For one thing, I sought out ways to change my thought-life. Louise Hay and others feed me with nourishment I desperately needed when I needed it. Positive thoughts gave me my life back, transformed. Best wishes for you and the life you desire . . . http://youtu.be/3LMaE2EWgDM I was raised appreciating my family. However, in 1993, I met a personal health challenge that put me in great need of help and support. My family rose to the occasion with love and support I desperately needed. So, I learned anew the meaning of family in my midlife. Since that time I've worked to be there for my biological family and to be "family" to others with a similar need as mine. brainyquote There were tough times with life's setbacks when I needed a good friend. In a group of our peers, a group for support,we can "practice" being a good friend. I enjoy sharing my affirmations with friends ~ An affirmation 4 u: "I am drawn to Silence; for in the Silence my soul is restored without fail." As I'm writing today I recall my travels across the United States and other countries. I saw a lot of beauty in the world. But there's still a lot of world out there yet to see. I never want to box myself in and think that I have seen all that I want to see and do. I have plans. I have goals. I have dreams. I was put on this earth to dream; when I stop dreaming I stop living. So, every day I push toward my dreams, never giving up. Keep pressing toward your dreams every day, without fail, and you will achieve them! You want wellness? Then, I say, "Follow your passion, something that inspires you!" I keep music playing where ever I may be. It uplifts me like nothing else, stirring my passion for life. I read a bumper sticker once that read, "Life without music would be a mistake." |
